main project cover page process

Hello everyone.

After I finished my whole design I made my cover page which shows all of my designs in one page and introduction page which explains my aim and the theme of project and the target market.

 I used Photoshop the make both pages.

In this post I want to share how I created my cover page.

I used Gradient tool to colour the background.

In this step I learnt one new thing which is add the gradient on gradient effect because usually the setting let us do just one layout and when we do again the previous one disappears. However when we set the setting above to multiple we can add the gradient. The disadvantage is since they are the layers in the order if we want to delate one layer we cannot just delete that single layer but it will go with other layer that we made after that layer. So we need to make sure that we are sure about that layer every time.

Then I used brush tool to decorate the background. This skill is the one I found while I was working on my design. If I choose different type of brush tip I can get this type of brush and it looks like flowers. So i really like this tool. I coloured another colour over the base colour and it looks better.

In the next step I pasted my logo at the centre and add shoes I designed.

In this step I learnt new skill again. While i was pasting the first collection since I copied it from the photoshop all the layer came and added into this page. I didn't like it because the layer page looks complicated so I wondered if I can combine them all together and I found creating folder tool. Then I could see it or lock it all at the same time.

 After that, I added a text which is my collection name. I contemplated a lot and then I decide to do it as 'In my sweet world'. I added the text bent it  with the tool above at the top says 'Warp text' among the options I chose Arch.

Lastly, there is one more thing I learnt which is how to make a shadow behind the text. I clicked the layer twice quickly and there the layer style window popped up then there were a lot of things that I could use. I went to drop shadow and change the distance and there you go. You can even change the angle of the shadow with controlling the needle.

It was a very happy journey because I learnt and tried a lot of different skills and tools.

I'm not sure about the background decoration because my major project is not related to flower but I still like it because I used new tool and it looks pretty.
